Swim-A-Thon

The submission for 1999 Swim-A-Thon tax receipts is now past due. Please remit the following information immediately.

1999-2000 Club Affiliation

This is a reminder to clubs that club affiliation information went out on April 1, 1999 to your club address on file with Swim Ontario.

The affiliation fee memo includes Annual Sanction Fee, OSCA Membership Fee, Club Affiliation Fee and GST. Please pay the total amount indicated.

Please be sure to complete all sections of the affiliation form.

Affiliation forms and fees were due on July 30, 1999.

National Swim Week

National Swim Week will be held September 15 - 22, 1999. Swim Ontario is planning a special event on September 9, 1999 in celebration of National Swim Week and the official launch of a Swim Ontario Alumni Association. We'll keep you posted.

Coaching Position Available

Superior Swimming (SORCA) of Thunder Bay is looking for potential coaches for the 1999 season, beginning in Septem-ber. SORCA offers training to both competitive and non-competitive swimmers, with all workouts held after school hours, five days a week. Our return enrollment from last year is approximately 30 swimmers, with registration for new members to begin shortly. This is a part-time position of 7.5 hours per week.

Requirements: - Minimum: Full Level I Coaching (ie. technical, practical & theory)

Outstanding Gold Bonus is for the month(s) of October 1998 to May 1999. Payment (including GST) should be sent to the Swim Ontario office immediately. A 2% late fee should be calculated for each 30-day period or part thereof, that the Gold Bonus is outstanding.
